Exodus 14:15 “And the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.”

In Exodus chapter 12, the Lord Almighty, by His power, delivered His people from bondage in Egypt. As His people began to leave Egypt, Pharaoh had a change of heart and began to pursue the Israelites. Pharaoh’s purpose was to bring the Israelites back into the place of bondage. God’s people were instructed by the Lord to camp by the Red Sea on their journey to the promise land. When the Israelites did what the Lord told them to, it looked like they had no way out. They had Pharaoh, who was coming after them, behind them and the Red Sea in front of them. Naturally, it looked like following the Lord gave them no way out and destruction was sure to come. Contrarily, with God’s help there is always a way out and to overcome any trouble.

Recently, I was thinking about this story in Exodus 14. Verse 15 caught my attention with a focus on the phrase “Go Forward”. I believe the Lord was speaking to me about moving forward in what God has for my life and what He has called me to do currently in His ministry. Also, I believe that He wants me to share with the body of Christ that it’s time to “Go Forward” with God’s plan in our current time. Just like the time in Exodus 14, we have been in the last few years faced with many obstacles (the pandemic, bad economy, crime rising, and troubles all over the world). God always has solutions for everything that we face. His desire, for those who have a living relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, is to show that He is real. God knows how to deal with the “Pharaohs behind us and the Red Seas before us”. It’s time to “Go Forward” and see our miraculous God work His supernatural power in our lives!

God Bless!
