“Ponder the path of your feet and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or to the left; remove your foot from evil.” – Proverbs 4:26-27
Your feet affect not only your natural position but also your spiritual position in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. The scripture found in Proverbs 4:26-27 shows us that our feet have led us to our current position on our path. Whether we are experiencing a close relationship with the Lord, or we are not as close as we should be with the Lord. Remember, our feet have taken us where we are!
The writer of the Proverbs who is inspired by God, tells us we should “ponder the path of our feet”. The Hebrew word that is translated “ponder” is defined as “to take all obstacles out of the way that would prevent us from wholly following the Lord’s will for our life.” We should consistently watch our steps, to see what path our feet are taking us! Our feet are made to walk! Let us heed the encouraging words of Proverbs 4:26-27 to evaluate the path our feet have taken. Let’s set our feet on paths that will lead us to draw near to God. Putting the scriptures as the governing guide for our life and spending time with God through personal communication with Him in prayer. This will establish our life so we can see God’s best realized in our life.
God Bless!
