Exodus 14:15 “And the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.”
Last week, we looked at this Scripture and how it relates to you going forward in your spiritual journey. I believe that our Lord Jesus is calling us all to move and advance to deeper places, just like He did the children of Israel many years ago. Israel had a land waiting for them to possess and to see and experience the goodness of God. The Word (Bible) tells us in Psalm 34:8, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
God’s plan was to move Israel out of Egypt (the house of bondage, Exodus 13:3) and to bring them into their promise land. If they stayed in Egypt, they would never have seen and experienced the freedom and goodness of the Lord. God instructed Israel to “Go Forward”. In the Hebrew language, the phrase “Go Forward” means to pull up the tent-pegs and start a journey. You see, Israel had their “tent pegs” in Egypt for many years. The Lord was instructing them that He was moving them to a brand new place to possess so God could bless them.
Today, I believe God is still calling us, His people, to “Go Forward” and see God’s goodness.
God Bless!
