Last week we introduced to you this scripture that speaks to us about God’s benefits toward those who know the Lord and those who walk in step with our risen Lord Jesus Christ.
After walking with the Lord for years I truly believe and have seen this verse come to pass in my life. It pays to know and serve the Lord of glory! God has daily benefits that you can tap into to see his goodness experienced. We don’t know everything that we face daily but the Lord does.
Many years ago I was driving to work one morning I drove through a place where ice had settled on the road that I was traveling on. I lost control of my car and I hit a concrete barrier. After a few moments, I finally gained control and pulled on the side of the road. I got out of my car to check the damage and to my surprise there was nothing!
How does this story relate to God’s daily benefits? The scripture says in Psalms 91:11-12 “For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”
God’s angels are a benefit to help us in our life. I believe that
an angel helped me that day to keep my car from being wrecked that day. It is important to your life and mine to know and see what our great Lord can do daily with his benefits.
