Isaiah 53:1 “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

The Prophet Isaiah asks two very important questions that have lasting results even to our generation. God has given a report all through the Scriptures concerning His plan for mankind. The report is His redemption for mankind. The redemption report is accomplished through “God’s righteous Servant” (read Isaiah 53:11). Who is this righteous Servant? Thankfully, we don’t have to figure this out on our own! God shows us who it is through the revelation of His Word, which is the Bible. Isaiah 53:4 states, “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows”. In Matthew 8:16-17 the righteous Servant is revealed fulfilling what Isaiah wrote hundreds of years before.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the great revealer of all that Isaiah spoke about in chapter 53. Jesus is God’s righteous Servant that Isaiah wrote about! In the next few weeks, I would like to share with you some wonderful truths that are found in Isaiah 53 that I believe will strengthen your faith in God’s care for us. Jesus has done a mighty work for all of us. It is His desire that what He fulfilled in Isaiah 53 be experienced in our lives.

So, why should we believe God’s report? We should believe because Jesus fulfilled God’s report. We should believe because when we do God’s mighty supernatural arm is for us to experience!

God Bless!
