1 Timothy 4:8-9 “…Godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.”
For several weeks we have been looking at different aspects of these two verses. Once again, the Spirit of God through the Apostle Paul shares with us the importance of living a Godly life. The focus of this kind of life is following the Lord God Almighty. Rest assured that it pays to serve God! When living this kind of life, it always puts you in an advantage place regardless of what you may face.
According to this Scripture, there are certain promises that can be experienced in our life currently. One of the promises that you can claim is to reign in life. God wants us to be victors, not victims. Two Scriptures that speak to us concerning this matter are Romans 5:17 “…Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.” Also, Revelation 1:5-6 “…To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Its time for those who know the Lord Jesus Christ to rise up and be the kings and priests that we are called to be, and learn from Him how to reign in life. God bless!
